Air box thingy
On my 280 T, when i go to the track, if i take that air box off will it increase hp any, since more air will be flowing??

yes, it will... but NO, you don't want to do that... it's pretty bad for your engine... best get a K&N cone to snap in place of your airbox.

what kinda gains am i looking @ with the gone filter, like 5 horses??

5 , maybe 10.......
And going without the filter for short periods is not particularly dangerous to the car , as long as the conditions are not very dusty. Have you ever seen those cars that run open turbos?

yeah, you can get a turbo horn for your car and just run it open- that would be pretty sweet- or you could just get some screen and clamp it on over the turbo- there is a nice makeshift filter
