shock question
when i am driving in my car and i hit a bump it feels like the rear end is bouncing around... on big bumps the entire rear end will shift. can anyone tell me why and what i need to do to fix this...

Your shocks and or springs could be worn out. It is an 18 year old car so it is bound to have blown suspension.

stand alone setups mabe? it's a lot better than a junk MAF sensor.

True , but it's just a bit odd since that place doesn't sell anything else to do with stand-alone systems.......

Im thinking Blisten struts and shocks with custom coilovers from JIC or one of the other major brands. I know of a person who has done it so I think I am going to follow along plus the spring rates I can get are insane.

mine does the same thing. But I don't plan on changing it anytime soon because I can get off the line like it's glued to the road. My back end will bottom out after shifting into second at full throttle. That shouldn't damage anything more should it. Also my front barely goes down at all

That's called
weight transfer and it's something every drag racer needs. That's one reason these high powered Supra's can't get off the line........suspension is too stiff , no weight transfer.

yeah but I mean mine BOTTOMS OUT... I don't think it supposed to transfer that much weight lol

That's caused by weak springs , too.

on the Tokico rear shocks do I need a conversion kit to make them fit since I have the adjustable factory shocks
