check e-bay. they are only $75 from hallman, It's not like it's a $600 EVC or greddy or APEXi. Really any ball and spring ajustable valve is the same. ebay is the way to go if you don't want to empty your pocket.

Scroll down a bit , they have a setup specifically for Z31s. Required hoses , adaptors , clamps and all is in that kit.

Basically , so that you can mount the MBC on the fender for easy adjustability. It's a bit of a pain to get at the fittings on the turbo and wastgate itself , you'll be working blind. Took me about 20 minutes of swearing to completely install it. If you really want to get crazy with it , you can get enough hose to run it all the way into the cabin and make it adjustable from the drivers seat. I know of a few people who have done that. The boost tends to spike more because the wastgate line is consequently a lot longer , so I don't recommend it unless you are a dedicated boost guage watcher.

Well I watch it enough but only because I like to. I don't want to HAVE to watch it all the time. The fender or somewhere's close is good for me. I plan to stay at one level anyways. Working blind. Besides taking off my wheels I think just about every project on the 300 has been partially if not all the way blind. I'll take off the driver side front wheel (jack it up before) and start working like that. It shouldn't be AS bad

And pull that big plastic deflector out from under there too. Might be able to see it all from underneath. I did it all from up top , but I've got somewhat of an aversion to 3000 pounds hovering over my head , even on jackstands , so I spend as least as possible the amount of time under my cars.........

Throwing the spare tire under the rails is a good safety , also.
