well, i got a 1986 nissan 300zx. the only problem it has its that when i step on the gas car like stalls or lacks. my accelaration will go up but the car wont run how it suppose to. this happen right after i changed my water pump. i dont know if air got in my gas pump or something. thx for the help

are you sure all the vaccum lines are hooked up? Sounds like you may have left something disconnected during the swap. I'd check the vaccum and electrical connections first.

Did you remove the timing belt when you replaced the water pump?
