hi, im trying to figure out what is wrong with my reverse gear its a 1988 300zx non turbo.
you shift into reverse and it feels like it isnt there, and when u let off the clutch in reverse it just grinds like all hell.
does anyone have any idea what it could be?
any help would be appreciated!

reverse is gone. rebuild the transmission.
