Take your pick-- blown head gasket, bad spark plug or wire, bad distributor, bad cylinder head, etc. the list goes on and on and on.
Start by pulling out the spark plug from the cylinder that's dead and looking for gas/oil on the plug. also check the spark on that same plug-- make sure it's blue.
