ok so the other day i made a post about a weird drivers side door panel light staying on <http://www.nissanforums.com/z31-300zx-t/129543-help-driver-side-open-door-light-wont-turn-off.html> so i did everything they said to do, but the weird part thats troubling me is that now when i try and jump start it my CD deck isnt getting any power even while the whole dash lights are working in ACC mode. the only thing that i can even think of is that the last time i was driving it it had a bit of trouble starting up, then after driving down the street for bit it sputtered and died, i didnt know what was rong. my cars parked on a bit of an incline with the nose of the car pointing the farthest up, after i got it started again i touched the distributor cap and it shocked me, then after i was done using the car i parked it which is when i started having problems with that light, i tried unplugging the battery and reconnecting it, still did the same thing as what i said in the post above.
now when i get a jump it doesn't read any volts when i try to turn it over and the CD deck still doesn't com on could the shock have killed the distributor cap or rotor? or maybe just a fuse, not great with electrical sh!t so any recommendations are much appreciated, thx guys!
