subs in the back?

anyone know if you can put 8" subs in the flip up cubby spot in the back of the 2 seater gll model? I want to sink 2 8" subs in there but not sure if they will fit. anyone ever seen this done? or think it can be done?

That spot is not very deep. Your subs better be 4" thick, tops.

Not so much that, but making the compartment into a sealed box is going to be a big difficult... You'll have to fiberglass the inside of it shut, make sure the air space is right other wise it won't sound like anything worth a crap and somehow get it all to work and fit.

But space wise, yes two small wattage 8"s should fit. Just don't expect it to sound like anything.

the subs i want to use are exactly 4" deep. So that should fit huh? not worried about sealing the box, ive had the big systems before. I would rather have my trunk space and sacrifice some bump. 2 8" cerwin vegas with 500 watt legacy and 900 watt urban amp should sound good enough. Any suggestions?

Unless your subs are set up for open air, like I said, you probably won't get anything but a crappy sounding mid..
