Stiff 5 speed
I just bought a 95 Altima w/ 100k miles. It's an SE with a 5 speed. The shifter is real stiff. Any pointers on how to repair this? Thanks!

Check the hydraulic clutch fluid.. .sounds like you might be a hair low. (that's what I love about mechanical clutches.... they're always stiff )

doesnt sound like the clutch at all. check the bushing at the bottom of the shifter... sounds like the bolt is too tight or the bearing is going bad.
