93-97 Altima Tech Help

So here's my situation.

New altima with crank sensor in the trans.
Older Altima transmission with no place for the crank sensor.
Can't pass NYS inspection because of a check engine light.
Can't register a car in NYS if it hasn't been inspected in the last 12 months.

I know hondas have a workaround for this sort of problem.
Older B16's have no spot for the crank fluxuation sensor. Newer B16 ECU's (OBD2) require a crank flux sensor signal or else CEL is thrown.
The solution for Hondas is to tap the crank flux sensor signal into the crank position sensor in the distributor.

I'm looking to tap the crank sensor from the tranny/flywheel into another crank or possibly cam sensor.

Does anyone know the wires at the ECU that control cam sensor and crank sensor?
This is a honda example of what I'm looking for.
