I have a 93 Altima and the brake and engine lights (in the dash) are half on all the time. At times they flicker down to nothing at other times they are bright but not fully lit. Whatever is going on it must be related because they are both lit at the same intensity at any given time.

Any ideas?

Correction it is the brake light and battery light.

Is the brake handle up?
How old is the battery?
Check batt with DVOM bolt should be 12.6 volts off.
Car on should be 13 volts to 14.5 volts.
