Auto Tranny Leak

I've noticed a auto tranny leak ... have red tranny fluid that drips from very bottom of the housing. I took a quick look and I know it's not the drain plug or pan gasket.

Anyone have any ideas on where it might be leaking from? I'll have to crawl all the way under and take a look, but would like to have some ideas on where it might be coming from. Anyone experienced on where the auto tranny could leak, or have had a leak that they have fixed?

Buy a leak dye, Fill trans with dye, then use UV light to locate leak.
The sell at the autostores. Also I would degresse the area, and look for leak
Also how the leak? Is it dripping fast and losing power? Can you take pic of the area is leaking?

I finally got a chance to borrow some ramp stands and get the car's front end way off the ground. Crawled under and found that the tranny fluid is leaking from the RH half shaft seal. I think someone replaced the half shaft before I bought the car, so maybe they nicked the seal when installing.

I also notice the RH seal looks a lot different than the LH seal. The RH seal has a much bigger lip that sticks out ... I'm thinking maybe the lip is rolled backwards and that's why it's leaking. Hard to say unless I could look at another 94 to see what the seal looks like.

So how hard is it to R&R the RH half shaft? I'll probably just add auto tranny fluid as it seems to leak about 1/2 qt every 2500 miles or so.
