O.k. forum, I have a problem and need some input. My '96 rolled 120000 on it on the way into town yesterday, while easing across a parking lot I felt it stumble once, I drove a block pulled into a parking lot enroute to my next errand, on the way out of the parking lot, it died.
I pushed it out of the intersection, back into the parking lot , and tried to get it back, and nothing. It acts just like a bad timing belt, but I just read all your forums on that (timing chain) and I now doubt this is the problem. I am a bodyman and mechanic, of 20 years, so a plan to repair it now that a roll back brought it home. The car ran great been using it as a commuter getting 30 m.p.g. Check engine light was on due to the a.t.s., havent scanned it since, would have to haul it to scan again. Anyone been here before? It is not in the fuel system, the pump is priming as always, I checked that. Thanks for any input. Mike
