Hi,

Got 96 Altima with 99,000 miles. Recently changed the water pump. Now, if Check Engine Light is off, does it make sense to replace the thermostat and O2 sensor? Or, if it is not broken (based on CEL), why fix it?

My temp gauge goes to as high as in the middle - that's how it has been all the time I have owned the car since 1996.

well i would do the o2 and maybe the ECTS (coolent temp sensor) just for mpg
