my muffler went bad and deal asks for $350 to have it replaced.

I am wonder if I can just do it myself, so anyone here has experience how should I do that ?

Or what can I find a good link talking about muffler replacement? The haynes book does not say a lot on this.

Well, if you can find an OEM replacement (with the correct bent tubing and flange on it), which you may be able to find on ebay, it shouldn't be too hard to do. You may encounter some rust on the bolts/tubing, but a little elbow grease will help to get the job done. Personally, I'd buy a decent muffler, at a decent price, and take it to an exhaust shop. They probably won't charge much at all to do it...
