Sticking gas pedal/Thottle body

Just trying to figure out the most likely cause.

My gas pedal sticks. I checked it and it's not the pedal but rather the throttle body or one of the actuators.

I think this could be why I was having high idle last week. It was sticking and not fully closing. Since the car would lunge forward after I let off the brake.

What's the most likely cause? Is my TB dirty inside? Should I bother digging into that and cleaning it out or should I grease all the actuators and springs? I WD-40 the spring and that area but nothing improved.

I couldn't see it getting dirty inside the TB with the stock air box on?!@?

Thanks.
