Cut my springs?

Hey guys. So i cant afford to get new springs but desperately wanna lower my car...
I was thinking of cutting my springs? Good or bad idea?
I understand that it won't my handing any better, which doesn't bother me, i just want it to look low until i can save up some money to get some good springs to put on.

DO NOT. It is ILLEGAL because it is DANGEROUS. Save up and get some springs, and better shocks to match.

It will make you car look cool but handle WORSE.

Do not do that, your car will ride like ass if you do, it won't line up well. Plus its kinda ghetto. Save up 300 dollars and get yourself an eiback kit.
