Are the Auto/trans in Altimas 1994 and 1995 differents?

Hi guys;I ask because reading old threads, found some comments about the Altima 1995 with "NO FILTER TO CHANGE" in the Auto/trans,and one of them said;"the filter isn't replacable [?] (even though they'll sell you one in the kit)" and KA24Tech said: "There is no filter to service"??????? "and It takes 10 qts" . I'm insane or Crazy? in my 1994 the Auto/trans use 6qts ,and I always change the filter [perfect match from the kit]
Are the Auto/trans differents?

I think the only tranny thats different is 93. I think 94 and 95 are the same. I had a 97 tranny in my 95 altima before I sold it.

The difference between 93 and 94+ is the bellhousing I believe. I could be wrong.

Yes no problem[more life for your Trans]and when you do the tune up,clean the magnets[2] full of metals is one of the most important thing you can do.

The capacity of the trans is about 10 qts. A drain and fill requires about 4 1/2 qts. Dropping the pan and replacing the filter usually requires about 6 qts.

Synthetic ATF is cross-compatable with conventional ATF. Make sure the synthetic ATF is compatable with Nissan type "D" ATF. If sticking with conventional, Nissan recommends Nissan type "D" over Dexron II and later formulations. Type "D" is actually the original Dexron formula and prevents valve body sticking better than later type Dexron formulas.

The reason most say don't change the filter is because Nissan usually uses a screen, not a typical filter. Their thinking is that if there is enough debris in the ATF to clog the screen, then there is an internal failure of the trans that needs to be addressed. If you feel better by replacing the filter-screen, knock your socks off!

If the capacity of the trans is about 10 qts,and dropping the pan and replacing the filter usually requires about 6 qts.;4 qts stay inside the trans in valves box ,conducts ect?Nissan usually uses a metal screen, but the main reason for drop the Pan is to clean the Pan,and 2 magnets full of metals after a long time of use,you can clean the old filter, but if you buy the KIT you use only the gasket?in my NISSAN MANUAL:Nissan recommends Genuine ATF+4 or equivalent type DEXRON II E.

(about their thinking)Their thinking is that if there is enough debris in the ATF to clog the screen, then there is an internal failure of the trans that needs to be addressed. So if you found debris in the ATF and in the screen,BUT without problem yet ,you most repair the trans?
