Hi all. New guy here. I just bought my daughter a 1994 Altima GXE 5-speed. It's a toy for us to work on together. It didn't have a radio in it and I'm looking to put in an original Nissan AM/FM Cassette/CD. My question is what ones will fit? I've seen some from different years but don't know what is compatible with our car. Any help you guys and gals can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure someone out there will advise going aftermarket. I will if I have to but, I'd like to stick with original for now.

BTW: I'm Woob. She's Boney.

Any radio out of a 93-97 Altima should fit and have the same connector.

Only radio from 1994 altima will fit without modification. I have a 1994 altima and bought a radio from 1995 altim and it did not have the same connections in the back.

Are there different radios for different trim levels? When I bought my 95' It came without a radio and I got one from a 96' which went right in.

wait now that I think about it - 93-94's have different wiring then 95-97's due to the OBD2 switch - sorry for the wrong info.

Thanks all. Still not sure what route we're taking yet. I have an old Pioneer around here that I might have to go with if I find the right wires. I've installed many radios and I get sick of having to buy so many wires, connectors, adapters, etc. That's why I was hoping to go stock and just slip it in.

Someone mentioned (elsewhere) that 93's, 94's and early 95's (OBDI) would be compatible.
