Replaced MAF now bucking above 2500rpms

I got 2 codes,

12 and 34

12 was for the MAF and 34 is for knock sensor

I got a used MAF off ebay and replaced my old one and reset the codes.
Now the car is bucking when i go above 2500rpms

does the maf need to be like broken in or a couple miles or is it just bad?
or is something else the problem?

ps. i checked the voltage on the harness connecting to the maf and the voltage rises accordingly so that isnt the issue

well the only thing that i can think of off the top of my head, is the wiring. But if you say its good well then i dont know. Is there no more code for the MAF. What about the Knock sensor, has that been fixed.

i haven't touched the knock sensor because i figured the knock was coming from the maf throwing off the fuel/air ratio.

and the wiring is fine
also, the code did come back after i reset it

Try spraying the thin MAF sensor wire with an electrical contact or MAF cleaner (no residue or film). Be careful to hold the can at a distance (strong spray) so to prevent any damage- spray the wire and the tubes that support it though the housing screen (clean screen 1st so to prevent dirt from the screen hitting the wire)
