Stabilizer bar bushing or something worse?

Wife hit a rather deep pothole and bottomed out the passenger side wheel with enough force to knock the hubcap off. Ever since, the pass side has been clunking even when going over normal road bumps but no noise when pulling into the driveway. Pulled the front wheel and saw that part of the bushng for the stabilizer bar was hanging out from the end on the inside part of the bracket. When raised off of the ground there is no play in the wheel from side to side or up and down and no vibration or wander when the car is moving. I am hoping that it is just the bushing and the clunking is the bar hitting the chassis. Any special procedures or prep that I need to do if I change it? I installed the bar on my Sentra along with the bushings and end links and it was a PITA.
