Does any body know when your oil really gets dirty does it start to leak a little around your oil pan gasket. I already got the new oil pan gasket but did not put it on. I am working on brakes right now!

Not really, that just means the gasket is starting to get old and leak. You can have a brand new engine with sludgy oild and the gasket shouldn't leak. And vice versa.
