I was wondering if there was some version of the z24 2.4l engine that came in my 89 nissan truck that came with a multi port fuel injection as opposed to the throttle body. I have heard that the pathfinder had it but can't find out if thats true and I wondered if there was a swap available from a car setup or something. I want to add a small turbo and there are't any fuel management systems that work with tbi i just thought it would save me a ton of time welding bungs into my intake thanks

I'm not 100% sure if the fuel systems will swap or not. If they do, you will also have to swap the ECU's, which if you swap from a pathy, you will probably have to do a lot of custom wiring.

The wiring isn't really an issue as I had planned on using an SDS fuel management system I just thought it would be easier to find a manifold with all the sensors and injectors not to mention alot cheaper too. So that is correct, the intake manifold on an 89 pathfinder is a multiport in the 2.4l z24 engine?

Unfortunately, after doing some research, it appears that the pathy has the exact same engine, down to the throttle body. Sorry, Looks like you're gonna have to brush up on your welding skills.

TRY TO FIND A KA24DE MOTOR. THERE MULTIPORT INJECTED AND HAVE ABOUT 50 MORE HORSEPOWER THAN THE Z24 AND YOU CAN BUY A TURBO KIT FOR IT. ITS THE MOTOR OUT OF A 240SX. I THINK IT BOLTS RIGHT UP TO THE Z24 TRANNY .

just get the ka24 head for it. it bolts up to the header. ur gonna need a wiring harness and a ecu u could get it in for 500$ i did it
