Ongoing Pickup overheating problems
Let me start off by saying you guys are great. You have been such a help to me in the past. I have another probelm with my 93 Nissan Pickup that has me stumped. It continues to run hot on 90+ days. Let me just say that I have done a lot in the last two years.
New radiator. New thermostat (removed now) new hoses. Flushed system. Bled system. replaced water pump twice. new clutch fan. fan was on backwards, on correctly now.
This is the weird part. Try to follow this. It appears that the water is flowing backwards in the radiator. When you disconnect the top hose the water is flowing out of the top radiator outlet. When I switch the hoses to where the water is flowing in the top of the radiator and down through the radiator it runs even hotter.
It is almost as if the water pump is pumping backwards. I realize that it actually pulls the water out of the bottom of the radiator, but it seems like that isn't the case.
I am sure that one of you Nissan geniuses has seen this before...I am stumped!!!
Thanks guys.
