1995 SE-V6 4x4 strange buzzing noise

I have the above truck and have been hearing a strange noise almost every time the engine is shut off. Anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes after parking the truck, a distinct buzzing noise begins and last for several seconds. It sounds like a large bee is stuck inside the truck and it sounds like it is coming from the bed area. I'm pretty sure it is not actually a buzzer going off. Could it be something in the fuel system or some sort of vent noise from the fuel lines? It really has me stumped...any help is appreciated!

My '95 has done that forever; I think it's something related to the gas tank vent. Try pulling the gas cap while it's making the noise, that should release any vacuum or pressure in the tank and at least confirm that it's coming from the fuel system. As my truck has done it since new, I've never worried about it. Perhaps I should...

Yep, it's the tank and/or fuel lines bleeding off pressure back into the tank. That's all.
