Question Unsure about steering

Do '93 pickups have power steering? It seems easier to turn then my '64 impala, but harder then my '02 accord. I just got it so I don't know too much about the different options that were available.

Check and see if one of the "fan" belts is turning a power steering pump.

Pickups usually come standard with what Nissan calls power assist steering.

Most of them do, but I think some of the base-model 2WD trucks had manual steering boxes.

Yes indeed they have power steering

You will find however that it is of the steering box and "Pitman" arm variety, my 93 blew some seals on the steering box and I had it apart to replace them. It will seem pretty stiff in general unless you are rolling and if you loose the assist completely it's still driveable but you will definately be hauling hard on the wheel at low speed, I still have my service manuals if you want any more info on how it works.
