fuse box

I have a panthfinder 1995. My back red lights are constantly on and therefore draining my batttery. Apparently, I have a fuse problem but I do not where exactly is the fuse box. Can anyone tell where the fuse box is and how does it look it?

Best Regards,

Hiram

99% of the Datsun/Nissans have the fuse box on the left lower side of the dash. There will be a flip down cover which has a diagram of the fuses.

It sounds more to me like your brake switch has broken, come loose or isn't contacting the brake pedal arm anymore. Check that first.

I agree - there's nothing that can happen in the fuse box that would cause the lights to remain on. Gotta be the brake switch. Probably a plunger-type switch high up on the brake pedal arm.

That switch is a fairly common Nissan failure too... I've had one go on my Q. Think it's about $7 for the part.

could also be the little pad that the switch hits, that pad could be missing, either way, cheap parts
