Before you remove the 4mm screws that hold down the distibutor cap (in my case on my high milage 88 Pickup) SOAK the HELL out of them with good penetrating oil!
Mine broke.
When you re-install them, be sure and use anti-sieze compound.
Surprisingly, the two C-clamps I have holding the cap down made it through inspection.
Don't know when I'll get around to extracting the siezed, broken screws.

ha nice, and who said there was no use for C-clamps? i used one of those for almost the exact same thing, to hold down the housing for the thermostat on a 88 hyundai excel, still works to this day... did it back 5 years ago lmao... sold the car to my neighbor, still running
