95 Pathfinder Antenna help

SO heres the scoop. My pathfinder has the power antenna and it's been on the fritz. it stopped going up to it's full hight then the motor would be wiring but no action so i assumed it was dead. I bought a brand new antenna and replaced the old one(which is a real pain if anyone has tried it, it's tucked way up under the fender). For 1 glorious day I had a working antenna. now it's stuck about 1/3 of the way up and won't move at all. i checked all of the connections and they are fine therefore I assume that the relay has died. Can't afford to take it to someone so does anyone know where the relay is located and how I can find it apart from everything else? And is it a fairly easy part to find a replacement for? thanks for any help.

Just a guess here, but could be your head unit. Do you know anyone that has a 95 or older PF that you could borrow the head unit from? It's a quick simple re and re to make sure it's your unit.

Not running a factory unit. I've got a nice alpine unit that i've had for years.
