pathfinder - fan keeps blowing.

I hope you pro can help me out. I turn on the car and the fan blows at maximum . What could be causeing this. I mean i don't think the fan is suppose to run at max except if set on ac or heat. Can you help me out.

My first guess would be a bad switch.

usually, if the blower only works on high, the blower resistor needs to be replaced.

its not that it only works on high its just that the fan turns on when the car is started. it dosn't blow in the car till changed on the switch so i dont think its the switch. how much are the resistors. hhopefully that made it a bit clear

with the blower switch in the off position, your blower is still working? is that right or am I not understanding something? If that is correct, then somebody or something has bypassed the switch, pull the switch and check the connections, maybe some metalic part is against the switch where the connectors are or.......
