Question Trying to program Key FOB

I have the great instructions on holding down the button and waiting for the confirmation beep..Problem is, my alarm is not sounding...I looked and traced all over to see if a connection was loose and did not see anything...Anyone have a diagram or better yet a picture of where I can check...

I assume I cant get this keyless programmed without hearing the alarm, it does beep on the inside though...Help please

Little help!? What year, and model? There are different methods for different models. If it is a 93-95 Pathy and you are not hearing the siren, it may be bad or the wiring under the hood may be corroded. Let me have the info requested and I can definately help you.

On my 95 Pathfinder there is a box under the drivers seat on top of the box there is a button you can feel. Push the button then set the alarm with your new fob also with any other fob you plan to use with your car, it should "learn" signals from your new fob, but will erase previous memory. You should here a beep when the alarm recognizes the signal from the fob.
I hope this helps... Have a fobulous time

What he said. If you do a search a couple of pages down, you will find the complete instructions for the 93-95 Pathfinders that I posted a couple of weeks ago. I detailed every step of the programming and if that is your problem, the instructions should walk you step by step to completion.

Good Luck.

thank you

I have the instructions and can find the button ok, but my alarm is not sounding through the horn, so I can never hear the chirp...Its a 1995 XE BTW

I have checked all wires going to horn and they all seem in tact...is there another way to program it??
