Wow, what a difference cleaning the throttle body makes (98 QX4)

My pedal was sticking so I cleaned my throttle body. I use a body of Valvoline SynPower (w/ Synthetic Cleaners) -- Carb, Choke, and Throttle Body Cleaner.

Holy crap it took a while to get the black stuff off. The thing must have never been cleaned (it has 113k miles now). My pedal was sticking so I knew it needed to be done.

The back side of the butterfly plate was THICK with black stuff. I could scrape the stuff off with my fingernail! It's all clean now, no more pedal sticking. Smooth acceleration as well.

If you haven't done it in a while, do it!
