1997 Nissan Pathfinder Dashboard Low Gas Indicator not working
Hello.
I wonder if someone can give me some insight or reaccounts of issues with any of the dashboard indicator lights having problems. Just recently, I've started to notice that my Low Gas light indicator is no longer working. Not really a big issue since my fuel tank indicator still works and tells me how much gas I have left, roughly, and after having the SUV for over 7 years, I know pretty much how many miles I get on a full tank.
What I'd like to know from anyone who may be knowledgeable in the subject is if this is an easy fix [the low gas light] that I can do or if I might require the aid of a mechanic to fix this issue AND if I do need the aid of a mechanic, how much should I expect to be charged for the work involved, giving a rough estimate. I'm guessing that it is either a fuse issue or a burnt out light bulb. I really have no idea though since I'm not all that smart in the technical and mechanical aspects of my SUV. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
