Yellow Bumpers, White Quest, Good Story

Have to tell the good story first, LONG story short. Bought 04 White Quest, GREAT deal. Turned in for 3,000 oil change, they hit the running board backing up, said they were ordering part. Then I turned in car when the new running board came in (again, THEIR accident!). They called me 3 hours later, "We had ANOTHER problem with your car... but it is on the way to the BODY SHOP!" WHAT!??! They wrecked the whole back end of my car. Everyone told me to demand a new one, so I did... and actually got it.. BUT they didn't apply what I had already paid to the new loan, LOW on their part, but great I got the new van.

Well... now the NEW 2004 white quest has yellowing bumpers and side bumpers!!! AHHHH!!!! Makes me think I should have kept the old one, despite the crash. So they took pix and sent them to "California"... it was approved, and today I turned in the Quest, got a rental, and they are going to paint the bumpers to match the car. Has anyone had this done? Anyone with a white quest have yellowing bumpers??? Has anyone PAINTED bumpers, and how will they look in a few years? What a nightmare this has been... and believe it or not, I love the Quest... big van, lots of room.. but ohhh all the problems!
Thanks!
Katherine

Have an 04 quest and the local dealer beat up my rear bumper. They painted it 3 time. I believe the car is a lemon I have had TOO many problems and contacted the local BBB. I'll see what happens.

I worry about mine too.. so far the bumpers were repainted, the rotors were turned, and little pieces are falling off inside... just kind of shoddy work on the inside. But the great news is, of the top 5 vans they just did the crash tests on for safety, the Quest is on it and the Sienna and Odyssey are not... so at least there is something. Let us know how it goes!
