Question DVD Override

Has anybody worked at getting a factory Nissan DVD (04 Quest) to play on the front nav screen? We have a 2 year old who can't navigate the remote and it would be much easier to help her set up if we could see what is on the screen in back.

I managed to do this with my Lexus GX470 which was already set to display video as long as you are in park and not moving (easier to work around).

Ideas?

Nevermind. Found a few good after-market products to split video and bring to NAV screen (with added benefit of adding a backup camera to the rear to supplement the "beeping"... don't think that helps my wife enough).

I have been contemplation this very question and thought that there was already an input available built into the system. If you push the "Trip" button several times the screen goes blank and I was thinking thet there must be an additional imput that we could use. However could you embellish on how you connected the Video, and what aftermarket product you used? It sounds like a great solution!

I second that , I have an aftermarket DVD with dual headrest screens (POS) and would also like the option of using the nav screen for getting the movies started
