I've just completed my baseline dyno tests and am pleasantly surprised at the results. Using Nissan's claims of 265 crank horsepower, I expected to see 210-215 rear wheel HP after driveline losses (I have an automatic trans). Dyno pulls averaged 225.5 RWHP and 230.10 torque--both on 87 octane gas! Looks like Nissan was conservative or driveline losses are less than usual; either way I'm happy! Impressive!

1000 miles on the truck--I wanted to get it broken in before running on the dyno. I also shut down the tests well before redline; HP and torque peaks are reached well before that point anyway, so no sense in stressing the engine any more.
