I took advantage of the free oil change at the dealership - after first 2000 miles on my (wife's) 04 Quest. Then I run for another 2000 miles, since then I've been using Mobil1 5w-30, and I still change the oil and filter - Nissan filter only so far - every 3000 miles. Mobil1 for sure costs for but well worth the money. A sidenote, Mercedes and Porsche use Mobil1 in their vehicles, and that's what I use in my ML430, and a 1988 300ZX.
