My 93 Pathfinder started running like crap. Then I noticed a heavy gas odor. Then I noticed fuel spitting out of the exhuast pipe. 2 plugs were wet and fouled. When I jiggled the connector to the TPS the problem would stop then come back again. Also my battery went dead over night. Does anyone know if the TPS has power to it without the ignition being on? If so I think the connector is shorted to ground and that is what caused the battery to drain. HAs anyone seen this problem before?

I am not going to be much help here but... I do know those connectors get hard and brittle and causes problems
