I have been having many problems with alot of my interior instruments and accessories. All of which I have been able to sort out and fix, except for the latest. My dash lights will not come on, I have tried all methods of trouble shooting possible. I have checked fuses, wire connections, inspected wires for shorts, checked bulbs, and the switch, and cannot figure out what is happening. I am horrified to take it to an auto/electrical specialist, just to get it looked at is more than I can afford. Does anyone have any ideas on something that I may have missed? If so, reply here or email me at:
I have the same problem. Half of my tach lights are permanently out and just last night the speedometer side started flickering. Isn't there a small fuse terminal behind the guage bezel?

Exactly, all the other lights, like warning lights, blinker lights are working, just the tach and speedometer lights are out. I pull the whole instrument panel out and did not see anything else to check, but that was after pulling everything thing else apart first. Maybe I missed it, I'll try again this weekend with a fresh set of eyes.

next time you have the cluster out, replace the bulbs. You could have a bad dimmer switch. You may also have a bad connection on the printed circuit board. The best way to clean those is with alcohol, or you can use a basic pencil eraser, it works really well too.
