If you don't have a shop manual, check with a Nissan dealer service department - all they need is the VIN number.

you could even call the parts dept with the vin and it will break everything down for you, then just get them to print it out for you! Check the sticker in the door jamb, I think it shows what axle is in it also!

Thanks for the response. I looked in the door jam when i first bought the truck for the axle Id and gear ratio but no luck. Just thought somebody might know but I'll try calling the dealer with the vin.

Thanks
Jason

Is it 2wd or 4wd? 4 banger or 6 banger?

If its a carrier it's an H233B, if it has a cover plate on the back it is a C200.

Edit: I see you have a 4x4, so it is a 6 banger with an H233B. Is it an SC, SE or XE?
