2001 Frontier 3.3 V6, Non super charged.
Ohh yeah,,,
I have an exhaust leak on my passenger manifold. I havent had this truck for very long so I dont know it inside and out yet.... Has anyone removed the manifolds ? What is the easiest way to go about it ? Tips ? Tricks ? Hours ?
It looks VERY tight. Thats why I wanted to ask first :-)
Dealership said "Urhmmm, durrrhhm, you have a cracked manifold and its not covered by your warranty - your warranty only covers gaskets, so, urhmmm, its gonna cost you $786 and we have to drill and tap 4 bolts"
Basically what they told me was (Translation

"I dont want to do this, because its gonna take me two days and piss me off, so, unless you pay out-of-pocket for me to write off a larger invoice and make more money for my time, then i'm just gonna keep lying to you about everything that I can possibly make up"
LOL
"Cracked manifold" and "Tap 4 bolts" - Yeah right - YOU CANT EVEN SEE THE MANIFOLD OR THE BOLTS. How does he "KNOW" 4 of them are going to break ? HAHAHA
Anyways, thanks.
