Question Xterra drive on beach (fishing) & assesories please?

Hi everyone.
Just bought my 1st 4x4. Its an 04 Xterra. It will be my family traveling, surf fishing, and camping vehicle. I have seveal questions:
1. Can anyone offer a 1st timmer suggestions for beach driving w/Xterra?
2. Any suggestions for usefull assessories for these purposes?
3. Any worthwhile vehicle modificaions to improve performance for these purposes?
4. Assesories are very expensive, any trustworthy sources for inexpensive/discounted assessories (you can e-mail me privatly if this is not allowed)?
5. Any ideas for rigging a safe/removable rod carrier for front?
6. Should I install 2 tow hooks in front and back of vehicle?
7. I want to install fog/driving lights. Is the 04 XE prewired for them?
Any additional suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks
JD

Air down your tires prior to driving on sand. Like, to about 15-18 PSI or less. I've gone down to 8-10 PSI with no problems. The problem is that you have to air them back up when you want to leave and get back on the road.

By the way, that's spelled "accessories".
