How do I remove inner door handle?

I was pretty cold this morning. As I was opening the drivers side door the handle cracked off into 5 or 6 pieces.

A trip to the dealer and 41 bucks later; I have the new handle and am ready to bolt her in, but I can not get the door panel off because of the inner handle.

Does anyone know how to detatch this inner door handle on an 88'pick-up??

Never Mind.

I started prying at the handle edges, and the case popped off.

For 1/2 a minute I thought I broke the thing to bits. As it turns out the cover is designed to pop on and off.

So all is well, and I have a brand new handle!
