Alright, im doin the nasty: puttin in a new deck, and eventually speakers, and subs when i find an amp for them... but heres my issue: I'm not sure how easy it is to bypass the stock speaker amps... and i got a few days to think about it cause the pathfinder i now own isnt gonna arrive until monday or tuesday due to the FREEZING COLD WEATHER here in saskatchewan... Note to you bastards in southern US: its been around -50 celsius with the windchill the last couple days... and yeah, thats -58 fahrenheit.... ok i figured there would have been a bigger difference but hey still, eat that up haha. But yeah getting back to the point, i've heard two different stories: there is 2 amps in the rear right side, inside some side pannels, and ive also heard that there is 1 amp back there, and another amp below the stock head unit... im sure it would be that difficult to bypass, im hoping the wires are clean and color coded on either side of the amp, and adding my own piece of wire in place of the amp or whatever, kinda like when you get rid of a catyletic converter, add some pipe ... but then this also raises another question: TWEETERS? yeah its a lame question, but how are the tweeters wired? hopefully the power doesnt get divided between the 5x7's by the amp... cause that would be ever-so-crappy... so yeah im hoping that the wattage will still get devided correctly with the stock amps totally eliminated. I'm actually very surprised that i could not find any traces of wiring diagrams on the net. So, i'll be buying a haynes manual tomorrow, even though it may be useless and tell me what i already know about the wiring, but hey, you can always use one of those for fixing a problem, and not getting screwed by a mechanic. But yeah, if you guys have any comments or suggestions for me, or if you can help in any way, your reply would be cool!
my subs are two 10 inch alpine type S, (i think the model number is 1022d or sumtin like that) and the amp im looking for is the pioneer gm-d510m, to compliment the deck. http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/pna...etailComponent
So yeah, wow long post eh lol, but k later dude.
EDIT: I should have typed "later dudes" not "later dude". This is assuming more than 1 person will read my post, but hey you never know.
