Hey 91, I bought a 90 Nissan Pick up when I was 18 back in 95. It was my first purchase, I traded my first car (84 Honda Prelude) for it. I financed $3000.00 for two years and was the happiest guy in the world. It was completely stock and missing a tailgate. It was a 2wd reg. cab light metalic blue with the KA24E and a 5speed. Two months after I bought it I gave myself a set of rims and tires for my birthday. Now keep in mind that this was 1995 so some of the mods I done are now out of style but you will get the Idea. So after I got my rims and tires there was too much room between the fenders and the wheels so I needed to lower it. Now I used my truck to pull my boat so I couldn't slam it, So I had my allignment shop dorp the front down 1" lower than the rear with 2" blocks. Now it sitting right, I did the usual stereo mods, I had a Denon CD player with Remote a set of 6 3/4"JBL componets in the doors and two JL Audio W1 8" subs with two amps. I put a Grant steering wheel in along with a B&M T handle shifter knob. The 3% limo tint also set off and made driving at night difficult. Then I let my best friend take a girl out in a date in it, no problem right. Wrong! just kidding he hit a Deer and did $1500.00 worth of damage to the front of my truck. OUCH! So now I have an Insurance check for $1300.00 and a week later I get my taxes back! WOOHOO! So here is where the fun begins. Took the ugly flat 3 sloted hood off and replaced it with a 95 hood, swapped in a paintable 95 grille. I then retro fitted a 92 Toyota chrome wrap around 4wd bumper. I put blacked out head lights spray tinted all of my signal and stop lights. Shaved the antenna, put a power one in the lip of the bed. front nose piece full ground effect kit with a rear roll pan molded in. Had it repainted in a 92 Toyota blue that fliped floped to green. I bought a set of ANSI racing tips and had dual exhaust run out the back. I then purchased a set of Honda CRX bucket seats and made my own brackets to install them. I rebuilt my box and incorprated a center console between the seats. I also upgraded the subs from 8" to two 12"WO JL Audio. As you can see this was my baby and I drove the hell out of it. When I bought it it had 38,000miles when My brother totaled it in 2002 it had 189,000 miles on it. I have to say I got my moneys worth out of it. Hope this Gave you some ideas! thanks

Well, what's wrong with it? That'd be what you'd fix first...

I'm fixing up a 1990 pickup and here's my list:

MUST DO:
passenger seatbelt
headlights
speedometer (new problem)
pass. window crank
shocks, steering?

SHOULD DO:
stereo
tires
fix rust in bed
K&R Air filter
Trailer hitch (use bumper hitch for now)

COULD DO:
fender flares
2" suspension lift
performance air intake system
header
rebuild head
fix dent

and, of course, buy or build a camper for it!

With the Honda bucket seats:
Drives side front right bolt(closest to hump)- there is a bolt hole there that you can use one of the rear bolts in (the hole is for factory buckets)
Drivers side front left 1 1/2" spacer. I used a piece of 1/8" thick flat stock and drilled two holes. Bolt the bottom of bracket in stock location, 1 1/2" up put a bolt and nut through bracket and seat hole.
Drivers side right rear make a 1 1/2" spacer, through boltthe seat spacer and drill a hole in floor board. Make sure you use somthing solid for the spacer and put a big washer under the floor so the bolt dosent pull through.
Drivers side left rear same as right side but make a 3" spacer, bolt the same way.
Passenger side do same as drivers side
