difficulty in changing tire?

I was considering buying 4 new tires for my Nissan Pathfinder. I know i can go carry it to sears or someother place and have them change it for like hundreds of dollars. However, I want to know how difficulty is it to install them yourself. How difficult is it to get the old tires off your rims and the new tires on the rim??? what tools would i need other than jackstand, lugwrench?

it would be nice if you had a torque wrench, and the data on how much torque is needed for each lug nut, so if your flying down the road and its not tight enough your tire flys off, that would be bad lol. since your asking how to change a tire, no offense meant but maybe you should have like a friend do it or something

Typical mount/dismount fees are $8-11 per wheel. You'd need some strong arms and a lot of patience to get four tires off then four new ones on your wheels. Just go to the tire store. That's why they have tire mounting machines...

Apart from needing like 8 long tyre-irons, and 4 big, fat friends, as well as the paramedics to fix all the broken knuckles and stuff, what about balancing the tyre & rim when ur done?
Rather shop around for a tyre fitment place that gives a fair price: that's their business and they know it better than you or I. And have your alignment done while ur about it, it will save you miles on the tyres. $20 spent now will save you hundred later. Hardbodies are known for the crap they give with their front torsion-bar/independent suspension when it comes to camber and alignment. My advice (after 3 Nissan Hardbodies) is balance and realign every 30-40,000 kms.

OK. Simple answer.

YOU CAN'T.

Take it to a tire shop.
