93 Pathfinder rear power window help?

Hello everybody. i'm new to the forum, just registered but have been reading for a couple of weeks. i've got a small problem with my 1993 4x4 pathfinder. well, several, but one needs to be addressed soon. ;-)

a year or so ago, my passenger side power window stopped working from the passenger side controls. from the driver's side, if i pressed my button hard enough or rocked it, the passenger window would work but only intermittently.

a few months ago, someone smashed my front passenger window. they easily could have opened the rear door since i had left it unlocked. oh well. the repair service which replaced the glass said the window motor or an otherwise closely related part needed replacing. i have the receipt somewhere which i think designates which part, but cannot find it right now. they did their job and were gone while i was busy at work.

the immediate problem is the passenger side REAR window was down a bit, about 5 inches, and has remained there since then. i need to close it as a temporary fix from the weather. i thought i could remove the panel and somehow crank it up but today's attempt was a failure. it's pretty solidly in place. there are a set of wires with a white box/plug loose, (stiffly) dangling around the area where the interior door handle is located. i peeked inside with a flashlight and could not see any place where it would plug into. i tried to follow the natural curve of the wiring but that didn't help either. did the repair guys unplug it? my second hope was i could plug it in and possibly, by rocking my driver's side control, at least get it to go up those last 5 inches. just last week, i was able to operate the front window intermittently.

does anybody know of a diagram of the wiring posted on the internet? any help in finding the opposite end of the wiring? i also peeked in with a small dental mirror but still couldn't see where it might attach into.

carrying this a bit farther, what would you suggest as my next step in replacing crucial parts for getting the passenger side windows, both front and back, fully working again. is it the motor? or something else?

both driver side power windows work fine.

thanks so much for any help any can offer.

First, check to make sure the motor's getting power when you hit the switch. If it doesn't, check the switch itself. There should be 12VDC+ power on one side of the switch when the ignition key is on. Replace the rear window switch if it has power but does not operate the window motor. Simple electrical troubleshooting, man.
