Wiper problem assistance needed

Funny thing today with my '03frontier. The passenger side wiper
decided to not work, driver's side is just fine.Well I figure it's
probably the linkage that has disconnected but to get to it there is
that plastic cover that needs to be removed. How do you get this
thing out? and what could be the problem before I start tinkering
with this?
TIA

the cowl grilles look like they "pop" off, might talk to a body man or a mechanic at a dealer to make sure. On the wiper pivot there is a ball and this retainer snaps over it and the wiper linkage slips over the retainer... make sense, I am sure it will once you see it, I had to replace one in my truck and it wasnt hard. try part number 28851-V0100(retainer) they dont show it for the newer trucks, it might save you some time and agravation

The linkages on older sentras were one time use only. It was okay cause the linkage cost 8 bucks at the dealer. On my hardbody, the cowl grilles are released by pushing in the pin in the center of the clip and then removing clip. Not sure if yours are the same. Good Luck
