98 Frontier Cruise Control HELP!!!!!

I just bought a 1998 Frontier ext.-cab 4x4 yesterday. The guy I bought it from told me that everything works, but the cruise control is the only thing I cant figure out. Can someone help me out, there is the cruise button on the side and the three buttons on the steering wheel. I desperatly need some help, any assistance would be greatful. Thanks.

Hi there,you might want to check if the horn works before testing the control system as the cruise control switch gets power from the horn relay also check your fuses.you may want to get a second opinion as this info is for a 1998 xe
4x4 also check the cruise control cable for visible damage.

What was the question again? I couldn't find one. the cruise control doesn't work and you want help? Is that it?
