i have a 1993 nisaan ext cab 4wd pickup with the ka24e engine. i rebuilt the engine about 4 yrs ago and replcaed everyhting in the bottom end and had a head job done. the probelm is with the engine pecking or rattling. it seems to be in the timing. if the timing is adjusted 2-3 degrees the engine wont peck but a load on the engine causes the valves to rattle. if you adjust the timing a couple of degrees the other way the engine pecks. there is no median. can you help.....could it be the crank ankle senor?
